Metro Line E – Timetable
The metro runs from the airport to the city centre at regular intervals every day:
Towards Trindade (city centre):
- 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.: every 30 minutes
- 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.: every 15 minutes
- 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.: every 30 minutes
Towards Estádio do Dragão:
- 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.: every 30 minutes
- 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.: every 20 minutes
- 11:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.: every 30 minutes
Travel time: approx. 30 minutes to Trindade.

- The timetable applies daily, including weekends and public holidays.

Where can I buy metro tickets?
You can purchase tickets at the metro ticket machines.
First, you will need an Andante Card (a rechargeable card), onto which you can load your journeys.

Taking the Bus from the Airport to the City Centre
Several STCP bus lines connect the airport with the city centre and various districts of Porto.
The bus company Resende also operates daily services from the airport to Guifões and São Gens.
Buses are a good alternative if the metro is not running or if your destination is not directly served by Line E.
